Features coming in Version 2.2

It is desirable to itemize components of an asset in the comments. In the previous version you were able to select a set of lines and recalculate by command. But tabs were not preserved; they would revert to some default. Now a set of details can be assigned to a table. You won't have to recalculate as the totals are automatically maintained. Tabs control the whole table. Unlike Word© where you would have to select all the text before setting tabs, all the tabs for a column of the table are moved or changed when the cursor is in the table. The tabs have also been enhanced to include all the types available. Just right click the tab you would like to change. And just like Word©, you can drop tabs on and off the bar. The enhanced tab system appears throughout the application.

We have connected to the Windows Office© for spell checking and access to the thesaurus. If you have Word© installed this feature will be active in all of the editing windows in Reserve Analyst©. Spell checking of the text is checked and marked in the background. If you right click on a misspelled word you will have a list of suggestions show on the popup menu.

The 'Asset Comments' window had been previously fix as a child window. This means it use to always be on top. We had found that some of our clients were working with their screen resolution set as low as 800x600. This did not leave much room for the window. You now have the option of switching it to a system window. It means the comments now appear on the task bar and are not forced to be on top.

There has been a request to allow for a table of inflation and interest rates. We are providing to database tables marked with a beginning year. You will be able to create and name tables available at the office and user policy levels. Once a table is assigned to a math model it will not follow changes in the source table. It will be flagged if it differs from the source table and you have the option of updating the table. You will have the option of using tables in any of the math fields and on a per model bases. The applicable fields are Contribution Increase, Interest Income, Income Tax Rate, Inflation, and Contingency. Tables will not have to be extended beyond your necessary need. If you have five entries, (2005, 3.1%, 3,3%, 3.5%, 3.7%, 4%), then the last entry, (4%) will be used for the years following 2010.
